Disaster Action Team (DAT) Responds to Fire
An American Red Red Cross DAT team responded to a single-family fire this afternoon. When the volunteers arrived, they met seven adults and two children who were displaced by the fire. The volunteers provided the family with emergency, financial assistance for food and they assisted the family with finding a place to stay. Additionally, the volunteers provided beverages and snacks to approximately 25 individuals, including the affected family and those comforting them.
