Disaster Action Team (DAT) Responds to Fire

An American Red Red Cross DAT team responded to a multi-family fire early this morning. When the volunteers arrived, they met four families who were affected by the fire, two of which needed assistance. The volunteers provided the clients with emergency, financial assistance for food and clothing, and they assisted one family with finding a place to stay.

  1. In the middle of the night, these messengers of hope provided a selfless service to those affected by disaster. Rest well!
