The Sky is Falling...Again!

I'm sitting in the Disaster Command Center at the Dallas Area Chapter. We've been working around the clock since tornadoes and flooding hit our area two days ago. As I type this message, I am simultaneously watching four television stations all showing a developing tornado out in Jack County. Even looking at it, I can't imagine anyone else in our community going through another disaster. All of my colleagues are gathered around, glued to news reports, surfing various weather sites and shaking their heads.

We are standing by to see who needs our help from the latest round of severe weather. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, stay safe. Follow the instructions issued from professionals if you find yourself in the path of a storm and just know that if you need the Red Cross, we'll be there.
