30 Displaced in Dallas Apartment Fire

If you were outside at all yesterday, then you know the wind was whipping everything around, making it hard to even drive your car! For some 30 people at the Stone Ridge Apartments in far North Dallas though, the wind created a different kind of havoc as it whipped the flames of fire across the roof tops of their quaint apartment homes.

Twelve units were affected by the fire with the damage so severe that most of the upper level was completely gone. The Red Cross responded as soon as we got the call.

Here's a quick video of how the Red Cross and Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to this difficult fire:

  1. This was my co-worker's building. You never think it could happen to you until it does.

  2. Oh wow. That's so true. We never show up and hear someone say that they were prepared for their home to burn down. It's always so hard for families. We were so glad that everyone got out of this fire alive! Have your co-worker call us for help if needed. That's why we're here!
