Give Gifts That Save the Day This Year

It's that time of year everyone. The time when we start thinking about turkeys, gift shopping and holiday parties. But it's also the time of year when we think about those less fortunate and maybe adopt an angel or drop off canned goods at our local food bank. For us at the Red Cross though, the need for our service goes beyond a season. It's a 24/7 world-wide responsibility. So for the holiday season this year, we're asking that you keep the Red Cross in mind right along with your other favorite charities. Much of the work we do is very much behind the scenes, but it truly matters to families in crisis every day. Take a quick look at this video to learn how we support the United States military every day through our emergency messaging program. It's a tear-jerker that features real soldiers and those who love them. And then go to www.redcross.org/gifts and consider making a gift to our Service to Armed Forces program, or another program of your choice.

Let us know what you think about this video by posting a comment here. Did you even know we supported the military? Most people don't. That's the beauty of the Red Cross. We do much more good than anyone really knows, but we can't do it without you. We thank you in advance for your support!
