Get out and do something!

July is officially Anti-Boredom Month. So, in honor of the special occasion, I encourage you to get out and do something. I have a few ideas (feel free to comment and add your own too):

· Volunteer – This is hurricane season. The American Red Cross – Dallas Area Chapter is ramping up and ready to go but volunteers are always needed. Donate an hour, a day, a weekend or forever. You are the heart of the American Red Cross.

· Take a class – You never know when an injury or medical emergency will occur. What a better way to save a life.

· Give blood – Summer is a hard month for blood centers because of vacation plans and schedule changes. One pint of blood can save three lives. It’s your turn to give life.

If you decide to head outdoors, keep these tips in mind. Watch the video for more ideas to cure boredom and have a wonderful Anti-Boredom Month.
