Preparedness, The Soundtrack

I think life should have a soundtrack. Most people have different music for different moods.

When it rains and you feel peaceful, what do you listen to?

What about when it’s a beautiful day and you’re in a great mood?

How about when you are amping up your preparedness?

No? Well, I may be able to help with that. September is National Preparedness Month and the American Red Cross is joining the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to get you prepared.

Throughout the month, I’ll post tips so you can “Be Red Cross Ready.” Today’s kickoff includes a few preparedness songs (with help from the In Case of Emergency blog) to get you in the preparedness mood. Please feel free to comment and add your own preparedness songs.

Enjoy!

Bob Marley and The Wailers – One Love/People Get Ready

Five For Fighting – World

Don Henley – New York Minute

Foo Fighters – Times Like These

Andrew Bird – Fiery Crash

Pledge to be more prepared starting this month here.
