Denton Corn Dog Fundraiser A HUGE Success!

At the Denton Holiday Lighting Festival on December 3, Denton volunteers held a successful corn dog fundraiser!

Their overwhelming success was largely due to continuous caroling of the new “sure to be Holiday hit” Jingle Dogs written by our own Stan Bugala. The festivity at our booth was greatly enhanced by the fabulous jingling antlers that added to our holiday head gear, thanks to Millie Bell. And a BIG thanks to Cara for the use of the cooking facilities at the Quality Inn.

The group sold out by 7:45pm and raised $240.

While it does may not seem like a lot, $240 can help the American Red Cross provide 2 hot meals to 12 people or provide food and shelter for 5 people who have lost their home because of a disaster like a home fire.

Happy Holidays!
