Volunteer Center of North Texas Recognizes Corsicana Volunteer

Rebekah Moss Performs Extraordinary Acts for the American Red Cross

The American Red Cross - Dallas Area Chapter is proud to announce that Rebekah Moss was honored by the Volunteer Center of North Texas for her outstanding contributions and dedicated service.

No one is more deserving of such recognition than Rebekah. She has supported the American Red Cross for the past four years in many ways—supporting disaster relief efforts, teaching health and safety classes, representing the organization at community events and helping with fundraising. Without a doubt, she has a gift for helping people face their worst hour and she shares that gift with others by mentoring and teaching new volunteers. Rebekah embodies all that the Red Cross stands for—a true humanitarian offering comfort and help to all whenever and wherever it is needed.

Along with Rebekah Moss, 34 volunteers were recognized on November 5 by the Volunteer Center of North Texas at its Lone Star Salute. Each volunteer received the President’s Volunteer Service Award, which included a personalized certificate, congratulatory letter signed by President Barak Obama and an official lapel pin for completing at least 100 community service hours.
