Red Cross Dallas Responds to Southern Tornado Outbreak

When many families across the U.S. were seeking shelter from the storm outbreak on Friday, our Regional Chief Communications Officer, Anita Foster, was on a plane to Nashville, TN, knowing that in a few hours she would be working with Red Cross teams from across the country to serve the victims of tornadoes.

The severe storms left behind incredible damage and Anita is currently in Kentucky providing comfort and emotional support to victims and helping them begin to piece their lives back together.

WFAA news caught up with Anita yesterday and she shared the beginnings of this incredible journey of service.
