Support the Red Cross this Weekend! Do-Good Dining and Diversions in Dallas

written by Lilly Watson, staff contributor

If you're planning date night in the Dallas area this weekend or are just looking for a good reason to up the fun-factor on your plans, there are some great local businesses supporting the Red Cross!

Rockfish Grill in Mockingbird Station is donating 10% of your check to the Red Cross, now through April 22. All you have to do is order up some fish tacos or some of their in-season crawfish and then drop your reciept in the Red Cross box on your way out. Being a Red Cross supporter has never been so easy or delicious!

This Saturday, the early bird gets the $5 movie, as Studio Movie Grill supports the Red Cross with a special movie fundraiser. All North Texas Studio Movie Grill locations will be hosting screenings of American Reunion and 3 Stooges at 9:00 and 9:30am on Saturday, April 21 for only $5 a ticket. Order your tickets online or at the Studio Movie Grill box office and 100% of your ticket price will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

If you are looking to spice things up while supporting the Red Cross, Mojito's Restaurant and Bar is opening this weekend in Haltom City, TX. There will be live music and special DJ appearances so bring your dancing shoes! Doors open at 9pm and donations for the Red Cross will be taken at the door.

Don't forget about Hacienda on Henderson's Jazz Fest on Saturday, where a donation to the Red Cross gets you a free hurricane drink or Deep Ellum Brewery beer!

No matter what your plans are for the weekend, we wish you a safe and happy one!
